- All packages are sold as-is. No additions, substitutions, or subtractions of any service can be altered within the package.

Cancellations, No-Shows & Lateness
- Cancellations or changes that are made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled driving lesson and/or 5-Hour Pre-Licensing class will forfeit the ability for the student to take a make-up lesson and/or re-take the 5-Hour Class.
- Any student registered for the 5-Hour Pre-Licensing Class that does not show will forfeit the ability for the student to re-take the class.
- Upon arrival, instructors wait 15 minutes for scheduled driving lessons or road tests; student no-shows forfeit the appointment without refund, and rescheduling requires a new full payment.
- Lesson time begins upon instructor arrival at the student's location; student lateness reduces lesson duration, while instructor lateness adds equivalent time.
Lesson Rules & Safety - Students must have their valid, physical New York State Learner’s Permit on their person for every single driving lesson. Pictures or copies are not accepted. If a student arrives without their physical permit, the instructor cannot legally allow them to drive, the lesson will be canceled, and the student will forfeit the lesson without a refund.
- Level Up Driving School reserves the right to refuse the use of our vehicles for a road test if the instructor determines the student is not adequately prepared or safe to drive. In this event, the road test portion of the package will be forfeited.
- Instructors reserve the right to cancel a lesson immediately, without refund, if they suspect the student is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or is otherwise severely impaired or acting in an unsafe manner.
- We reserve the right to substitute instructors or vehicles for any lesson or road test without prior notice due to scheduling, illness, or mechanical issues.
Under 18 State Laws - Students who are below the age of 18 will not receive their full driver’s license and only obtain a Junior driving license if they do not have their MV-285 course completion course that is only administered through a driver’s education program. Level Up Driving School only offers the 5-hour pre-licensing class with an MV-278 course completion certificate; the MV-278 certificate is a prerequisite for a road test but does not satisfy the High School/College Driver Education requirement (MV-285) needed to obtain a Class D driver license before age 18.
- Under New York State law, students under the age of 18 must hold a learner permit for at least six months and complete 50 hours of supervised driving—including 15 hours at night—verified by a signed MV-262 Certification of Supervised Driving form before they are eligible to take their road test.
